9 St. Patrick’s Day Ideas for Toddlers: Easy, Mess-Light, Fun

st patricks day ideas

I technically don’t celebrate St. Patricks Day. I do have a lot of related posts on my blog so I wanted to share those for all the mums that do 🙂 It also gave me the chance to talk with my toddler about St. Patricks Day and other cultures.

In this post, I’m sharing tested St. Patrick’s Day ideas for toddlers that don’t need fancy prep, don’t destroy the house, and still create real connection. They can be done at any other time too.

🎯 What You’ll Need for St. Patrick’s Day Toddler Activities

You don’t need anything fancy. We used mostly what we already had at home:

  • Green paper or cardstock
  • White paper
  • Washable (finger)paint
  • Glue stick, tape
  • Child-safe scissors
  • Paper strips
  • Gold coins (plastic, cardboard, or paper)
  • Your free rainbow printables

Optional swaps:
No paint? Crayons or dot markers work.
No coins? Yellow paper circles or lids are perfect.
