Need a quick, cute, and budget-friendly Father’s Day craft your toddler can actually finish?Say hello to the Super Dad Toilet Paper Roll Craft! 💪✨
We made this little guy using a plain toilet paper roll, colored paper, and markers — that’s it. No fancy supplies, no glitter explosions. Just a fun little “dad” in a superhero cape to say Happy Father’s Day in toddler style.

Why this craft is toddler-approved:
- ✅ Low-prep: All you need is a toilet paper roll, colored paper, glue, and a marker.
- ✅ Quick: You can make it during nap trap time or between snack refills.
- ✅ Cute keepsake: Looks adorable on a desk, shelf, or fridge.
- ✅ Hands-on: Toddlers can help color, glue, and draw their dad’s face.

Supplies You’ll Need:
- Scissors
- 1 empty toilet paper roll
- Blue and yellow (or pink – I didn’t have one) construction paper
- Black paper (for hair and cape)
- Red foil or paper for the cape
- Marker for the face & writing “SUPER DAD” or “YOU ARE MY HERO”
- Glue stick or tape

How to Make a Toilet Paper Roll Super Dad:

Wrap the body: Cut blue paper to fit around the roll. Wrap and glue it down.

Add a face: Cut a yellow stripe and glue it to the top.

Add the badge: Cut a tiny yellow triangle and write a “D” for Dad. Glue it like a superhero logo.

Make hair: Cut out a black, brown whatever your dads color “helmet” shape and glue it above the face. Spiky, bald, curly — go wild!

Cape it up: Cut a red cape shape, glue to the back of the roll. I used some sparkly paper.

Final touches: Write “SUPER DAD” with a marker and draw the face— or let your toddler do it scribble-style.

Make it even more special:
Stick a little “I love you, Dad!” message or a toddler scribble inside the roll.
Or turn it into a card by taping a note to the bottom that flips open like a scroll.
Final Thoughts from One Toddler Mom to Another:
If your toddler has zero chill (like mine 🙋♀️), this is a lifesaver craft. It’s cute and gives that “I made this for Dad!” pride moment.
